The core of an AI Agent is not the model itself, but the collaboration between the model, tools, memory and planning capabilities.

One-line summary

By calling tools, storing memory and splitting tasks, agents let general-purpose models keep handling complex work.

01 Models aren't everything: tools set the limits of action

The system keeps the timestamp of every point, so each conclusion can be verified against the video context.

02 Memory keeps tasks moving forward

The system keeps the timestamp of every point, so each conclusion can be verified against the video context.

03 Planning and feedback close the execution loop

What you might want to know before your first use

How can I use an AI YouTube video summarizer to turn videos into notes?+

Paste a public YouTube video link into VideoNote, select Generate note, and sign in when prompted. VideoNote uses available captions or transcribes the audio, then creates a video summary, chapter notes and timestamped text. Click a timestamp to revisit the source video, or use the AI mind map to explore how the ideas connect.

Which platforms are supported?+

Public YouTube, Bilibili and X videos are supported. TikTok is coming soon and is not yet available for processing.

Can you process videos without subtitles?+

Yes. The content is transcribed from the audio, then turned into chapters, a summary and a timeline.

Can I download the generated notes?+

You can export Markdown or TXT, and continue organizing them in Obsidian or Notion.

Do you store the original video?+

The original video is not provided as a downloadable file or kept long term. The service temporarily fetches the media needed to process public content, then cleans it up.

What is the difference between video transcription and an AI video summary?+

Video transcription turns captions or speech into text so you can find quotations and check details. An AI video summary extracts key ideas and organizes them into chapters. VideoNote provides both transcripts and structured notes, with timestamps to help you verify the context in the original video.

How can I extract Bilibili subtitles and turn a video into study notes?+

Paste a public Bilibili BV video link, optionally with a selected ?p= part. VideoNote prefers available captions and falls back to audio transcription before creating timestamped study notes. Member-only, paid or restricted videos may not be accessible.

Can I transcribe a TikTok video and extract its key points?+

TikTok transcription and key point extraction are coming soon. TikTok submissions are not currently supported. You can use public YouTube videos to generate AI summaries and notes.

How can an AI long-video summary help with studying and revision?+

For a supported lecture, interview or course video, start with the summary, use chapter notes to find relevant sections, then revisit the source through timestamps. AI summaries can miss details or misinterpret context, so check important figures, quotations and conclusions against the transcript and original video.

How can I turn video notes into an AI mind map?+

Once your notes are ready, open the AI mind map tab to generate a knowledge structure from the chapters. The map groups topics and supporting points into a hierarchy to help you explore their relationships. Timestamped nodes can take you back to the source video for contextual review.
